The estate forms part of the Excelsior Park, which is accessed via the A721 (Glasgow Road) linking into the B754 Netherton Road. The estate is a five minute drive from Wishaw town centre and surrounded by considerable existing and modern residential development. Wishaw is located within North Lanarkshire, approximately 17 miles south east of Glasgow and 33 miles west of Edinburgh. The town benefits from excellent communication links, with access to the M74 motorway via Junction 6 and access to the M8 motorway via the A73. The motorway network in the immediate vicinity is currently subject to significant upgrade, with both the M74 and M8 motorways undergoing substantial improvements. 

Wishaw is located within the heart of the North Lanarkshire Regeneration Area, which is focused on the redevelopment of the site of the former Ravenscraig Steelworks and has already seen £200m of public and private investment. The Ravenscraig development will comprise a 1,200 acre residential and mixed use development, with the initial phases comprising a facility for Motherwell College, a new sports faciltity and 380 new homes, already completed. 

The established industrial areas of Bellshill and Eurocentral / Newhouse are both within a 7 mile radius to the north of Wishaw, as well as Mossend, the main rail freight centre in Scotland.
