NORTHERN TRUST COMPLETES SALE OF LAND AT WEETON

Northern Trust Company Ltd is pleased to confirm that they have recently completed the sale of 9.6 acres of land off Church Road, in Weeton near Preston to Concert Living, the commercial arm of The Progress Housing Group.

Northern Trust secured outline planning permission for 39 new homes in a mixture of house types and sizes, and Fylde Borough Council have subsequently granted a reserved matters application to Concert Living following a number of plot amendments.

A spokesperson for Northern Trust commented “We are pleased to have worked with Concert Living on bringing forward this new development site which will bring investment into the local area.”

Laurie Lane, Land and Planning Director for Concert Living commented “Weeton is a fantastic location for family homes and we are excited to add this site to the others in our portfolio which will be coming forward for development over the course of the next year.”

It is anticipated that Concert Living will commence work on the site in the Autumn.
