Funding News – New Call for ERDF – West Midlands Fund

A new open call for outline applications has been launched under the West Midlands European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) 2007-2013.

ERDF Structural Funds are allocated by means of two priority objectives. These objectives help businesses expand their activities, create jobs and become more profitable. The West Midlands RSP has identified five main Priorities for action for the period 2007-2013 as follows:

  • Priority 1: Promoting Innovation & Research & Development.
  • Priority 2: Stimulating Enterprise Development.
  • Priority 3: Achieving Sustainable Urban Development.
  • Priority 4: Developing Inter-Regional Activity.
  • Priority 5: Technical Assistance.

A new call for proposals has now opened to applications under Priority 1 – Promoting Innovation and Research & Development action.

Organisations intending to submit an Outline Application should discuss their project concept with the Programme Delivery Team beforehand to confirm likely eligibility under the calls. The closing date for Outline Applications is 12 noon on Friday 21 September 2012.

Details and further information of the Open Call are available to view on the ERDF section of the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG): http://www.communities.gov.uk/corporate/
