We are pleased to announce that Timba Floors & Boards have expanded their operations by opening their new regional trade depot within the Northern Trust portfolio.
Timba Floors & Boards, a national flooring distributor based in Coventry, have opened their new trade depot at Number One Industrial Estate, Consett following discussions with Whittle Jones in regard to finding the ideal site for their new unit.
Ben Muxworthy of Timba Floors & Boards commented “The management team at Timba Floors & Boards have been looking to expand our regionalised coverage within the Durham area for quite a while now. We have an incredibly strong base of trade clients in the area and lead by our customers demand to have a click and collect centre for them to use, we were looking for the perfect unit to use as a trial for one of our new business models. The unit at Linden Park allows us to hold a small core of stock, available to be ordered and collected the same day, whilst the rest of our range can be serviced by our national distribution centre in Coventry. The onsite showroom allows us to show some of our latest product prototypes to a small selection of our trade clients as a way of gathering vital research before rolling the products out on a national basis. The flooring showroom is open to the public to browse products which they can purchase through one of Timba’s trade clients.
